I thought you were close
then I tried to reach for you
but then you turned to something cryptic

I heard the cuckoo sang a lullaby
it was a weird one
I held my tears
but I found no peace

I saw you there
with that happy face
you were the limelight
while I was a lame joke

in a muddle mind

Aku dan Waktu

Sampai batas waktu
ku tak yakin lagi waktu memiliki jiwa dan hati
meranggas keyakinan ku kini
goyah kurasa cintaku ini

Ruangku dipenuhi harap
bertahan ku mendayung di tengah gelora
aku tersenyum pada waktu
berharap ia memberi cahaya itu

Aku sadar
ku tak mampu memenuhi langit kita dengan bintang terakhir
mungkin kau bisa menunggu
tapi aku...

Karena waktu tak memiliki hati
ia terus berjalan
gundah gulana ku
air mata ku
penantian ku
waktu tak peduli
ia kan terus berjalan
berlalu membuat semua menjadi sejarah

Aku
pada sisi lain dinding kelam
melukis cahaya
menggunakan cat air warna kelabu
